This is one of the most useful tools I've had the good fortune to install. I used the free version for only a few days before purchasing the paid version. While I do have a huge Kindle library, they don't trust their customers with the full version of the books they buy, so they should not be surprised that I value those who do. Project Gutenberg, Humble Bundle, the Von Mises Library, and a mort of others make an app like ReadEra outright essential. Combined with Calibre, it's a treasure!

This is the only one that works perfectly as a reading app should be. Smooth and customizable interface. The only down side is it doesn't support DRM protected books (and I really wish it could!). The other apps that can read DRM are stressing me out with their interface.

Great app. My only gripe at this point is the location of the progress bar. I read light novels which usually have 1500+ chapters and/or 15000+ pages. An accidental tap or swipe on the progress bar sends it flying thru the pages and I struggle to remember what page I was on and backtracking takes some time. I hope an option to enable/disable the progress bar will be added. Not just auto hide but to remove it entirely outside of kids mode.

I really enjoy this AI Audio reader. I like to read and listen to my books but I can't always afford the audible. This is an awesome Plan B. I immediately purchased the premium option without question. Premium is a one-time charge and it's under $15. You have lots of AI voices that you can choose from. Including Australian, United Kingdom, English and more. I highly recommend this app for people that like things read to them; for whatever reason!

Super convenient and accommodating to maaany file types. You can edit the details of the book if it comes out wrong. There's thumbnail view and grid view which I love, it also helps that you can sort your books into their own series or into your own collection. You can even view lists of books based on the author's names :) Font, line spacing, lighting modes, all adjustable! There are google/samsung voices to read aloud to you, but personally don't like them just because they sound very robotic

This reader has always been my favourite but it's been weeks since the last time I was able to read anything bec the app no longer opens any book. It keeps saying "Opening document..." or "Processing request..." but nothing ever happens. No book thumbnail shows and the metadata retrieval freezes at 33%. I'm so bloody tired. The free version still works just fine but I've always liked using this Premium one more. Frankly though, I'm starting to regret ever buying this paid version.

The best reading app I've come across, packed with features and the TTS is excellent. The only thing it lacks which the Kindle app has is a page turn curl effect (at least if it does I can't get it to work). I've used this app for many years now and will continue to do so for many more. Update-What has happened to the TTS voices? I've tried various ones recently and they all start off fine then after about 3 or 4 mins go all robotic sounding with an awful echo. Knocked a star off -please fix.

I don't quite understand the point of having the Checksums. Seems like overkill. I recently fixed some PDFs to add OCR text and despite having the same filename in the same file location the app thinks it's a different book and won't open from the old entry, losing all my bookmarks and such. At least let me toggle that off. Other than that this app is great especially with the option to open multiple books at once. I use it for my TTRPG PDFs and makes cross referencing a breeze.

Long time user of free version, thought I would invest in premium. A bit disappointed that it didn't have option for easy transfer from free app. App didn't remember my last downloaded pdf after reading half the doc, so I had to find where I was. Not sure if this is a bug. I appreciate filter options so I can sort through 800+ docs, and the cloud sync works so far, though I haven't tested it on another device yet. This was my main reason for purchasing the premium, I'll update review soon.

If I knew this app required internet to work I would have never bought it. I installed it on a mostly offline ereader. If it's not connected to the Internet it stops working. Who does that? eBooks are stored locally. Completely illogical and unacceptable. I would like a refund actually. This is the most I've ever paid for an app. Outrageous.

very helpful for reading a number of files and being able to keep them organized as well. while you can definitely get by with the free version the premium allowing app closing text to speech is very very nice! I like that you can select a single file for it to access without it asking for full permission for you entire phone like most other apps.
